Not Getting Burned

I love the Environmental Working Group. For years I’ve been buying more natural health and beauty products, confirming my choices on their Skin Deep site. The one thing I haven’t found a better, more natural alternative for is sunblock. My skin is really sensitive and breaks out in a heartbeat. It also burns in the same amount of time. I had an eye-opening uh-oh when I checked out the only sunblock my face tolerates. It turns out my favourite flavour of Neutrogena is scoring a seven for toxicity. Ouch. I’m not burning externally, just internally.

So I’m on a quest to find a sunscreen that my face likes as much as my internal organs will. I just got my Anthelios 45 by La Roche-Posay in the mail today. I really hope it works. It has rave reviews and a much healthier score of three. Here’s hoping.
