Barrel Fever by David Sedaris

I’ve always considered myself a Sedaris fan, but as I go back to his earlier works, like Barrel Fever, I find myself disappointed. I made it only about half-way through this one, which was chock-full of gay male adolescent melodrama. The fun part was that it reminded me of my gay, guy friends in high-school. However, one can only take so much of that kind of whining.
