The Voyage Out by Virginia Woolf

Here is Woolf at her most traditional, before she began experimenting. Although the story didn’t grip me until the unexpected end, I kept reading. I’m forever a fan because Woolf can capture the essence of everyday—those simple yet essential nuggets of life—ever so eloquently, so beautifully.
